Prototype demo

Meet Sage.

An AI voice assistant that takes recurring gift cancellation calls the way a good supporter care team would: warmly, clearly and without pressure. Try it yourself in under two minutes.

Talk to Sage

Ready when you are

Your browser will ask to use your microphone. Use headphones for the best result. You are speaking with an AI, not a person.

How to try it

Pretend you are a supporter who wants to cancel a monthly gift. Say any of these sample supporter numbers when Sage asks.

Supporter numberNameGift
Sarah Jones£12 a month
David Okafor£12 a month
Priya Shah£12 a month

All names and numbers are made up.

Things to try

  • A straightforward cancellation, giving a number and name that match.
  • A name that doesn't match the number.
  • Say you don't have your supporter number.
  • Give a reason, such as money being tight, or say you felt pressured when you signed up.
  • Ask something off topic and see how Sage steers back.
  • Interrupt Sage mid-sentence.

What this demo is, and isn't

It is
  • A working voice conversation following a typical cancellation flow
  • Checks a supporter number and name against three sample records
  • Captures the reason for cancelling and flags financial hardship for follow-up
  • Takes contact details for the team if the caller can't be verified
It isn't
  • Connected to Raiser's Edge, Stripe or any real supporter data
  • Actually cancelling anything. No payment is touched
  • Able to transfer to a person. It notes details for the team instead
  • Production ready. A live version would need security, data protection and compliance review

Where this could go

A live version could check the supporter in the CRM, cancel the recurring payment in Stripe, record the reason on their record and hand complaints to your team with the full context, so the team spends its time on supporters rather than on reconciling records.
